The soundtrack is not background. It is part of the voice.
I am Orazio Saracino, a composer specializing in original soundtracks for film, television, and branded content. My work begins with a simple question, what is this moment trying to say beneath the surface? From there, I build music that listens before it speaks, shaping each note around the emotion of the story.
A soundtrack is not just a sequence of cues. It holds the arc of the narrative, the silence between the dialogue, the tension that visuals alone cannot express. My role as a composer is to give that arc a musical identity that supports the project without overpowering it.
Over the years, I’ve composed soundtracks for a range of productions, including:
- Feature films and shorts, with works featured at international festivals
- Branded films and commercials for clients such as Moncler, Adidas, and Sky Sport
- Television programs on Sky and RAI, from title themes to background scoring
My training includes classical composition and jazz piano studies at the Conservatory of Bari, followed by a postgraduate focus on music for film and television. I approach each new score as a new story — one that needs to be understood before it can be written.
Each collaboration is different. Some clients come with a complete vision, others with a mood or a script. I adapt to both. The process is tailored, professional, and focused on clarity from the first draft to the final mix.
If you are working on a production that needs a soundtrack grounded in emotion, structure, and musical depth, I would be pleased to discuss it further.
Music should not explain the story. It should reflect its pulse.
